Let’s dive a little deeper.
By the way, my name is pronounced [ɡɑɡík] — just in case.
I have 3+ years of experience in UI/UX and product design, and 10+ years in graphic and web design prior to that, which gave me a solid visual foundation and a strong sense of structure.
I not only solve business problems, meet user needs, and create intuitive, aesthetically pleasing interfaces. I’m also driven by innovation to impact and transform lives by solving problems and minimizing the creation of new ones.
I know how to
• Craft and enhance digital products
• Conduct market and user research
• Develop UX frameworks, from user flows to interactive prototypes
• Run usability testing and iterate based on feedback
• Create brand identities and scalable design systems
• Balance usability, aesthetics, and business goals
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams with developers and stakeholders to achieve the best product outcomes.
Background
My Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design (M. Boichuk KSADAAD, 2011) and extensive experience working in design studios and agencies laid a foundation for my development as a designer. This combination taught me how to harmoniously integrate creativity, technology, and business goals to craft effective solutions. Over the years, I’ve mastered visual design and web tools, working on projects ranging from branding to UI/UX.
For the last two years, I’ve been deeply focused on product and UX design — expanding my skills through courses, self-education, and real-world projects. In my career, I strive for continuous growth and rapid adaptability to ever-changing trends.
Transition to Product Design
It began in 2018, when I worked at A Cut Above agency. As a lead designer, my team and I dove into a startup project to build the Bitserf cryptocurrency exchange. It was an ambitious challenge: I was responsible for the brand’s visual identity, the product’s UI/UX from scratch, and preparing the MVP for launch.
The crypto space was completely new to me, and this became my first deep-dive into UX and building a complex, task-based platform. I made plenty of mistakes, but gained even more insights — learning on the fly and growing with every task. The project deeply inspired me, and I felt I was building something important and different from anything on the market. It was then that I realized product design was my path.
Unfortunately, the project was put on hold due to insufficient investment.
Today
Currently based in Yerevan, Armenia, I work as a freelance designer, eager for the next chapter: a full-time opportunity, remote or with relocation.
My goal is to join a product-oriented company that aligns with my spirit and values — with an ambitious, curious, and kind team.

Beliefs
I believe that our environment shapes us, so I surround myself with people and content that foster my growth. I don’t believe in coincidences, but I believe in the unity of all existence and the global network of consciousness. I value every encounter and experience gained. I believe in the constancy of change and don’t seek illusory comfort.
I'm convinced that personality is a set of habits — so I consciously build beneficial ones and eliminate the unhelpful. I'm convinced that humans are socially adapted primates or programmed bio-robots and that further evolution of our species is possible on a conscious, individual level.
I believe in mental clarity: freedom from opinions, bias, judgmental attitudes, false conceptual models, selective thinking, and premature conclusions.
I question the existence of life's meaning, objective truth, fundamental knowledge, and conventional morality and values. I believe we create life's meaning ourselves — so I aim to ensure that my work justifies my existence. After all, isn’t that what brings peace and a sense of meaning when we look back at the life we’ve lived?
In my free time
Psychology, philosophy (nihilism, existentialism, stoicism), Robert Anton Wilson, Zen Buddhism, Kabbalah, the historical Jesus, yoga, metal music, and electric guitar playing.
Made it to the end? Great job.
